Ahmad Tuffaha is the Managing Partner at Gulf Bridge Venture Partners (GBVP) with over a decade of experience in start-ups, venture capital, advisory, and technology across North America and the MENA region.
In addition to his responsibilities at GBVP, Ahmad also serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at a B2B SaaS company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, contributing to its future direction. With a focus on strategic initiatives, he leads geographical expansion, collaborates on key business strategies, and has played a pivotal role in securing funding from GCC investors. Previously, he served five years as a Portfolio Manager at Phoenician VC, where he oversaw a portfolio of 20 seed and early-stage companies across MENA. Before joining Phoenician VC, Ahmad accumulated valuable experience during his two-year tenure at KPMG Lebanon and as a Business Development Coach in the Greater Detroit Area, where he honed his skills in advisory and financials.
Ahmad not only contributed significantly to the development of the regional startup ecosystem, but also set up multiple Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to strategically invest in companies across Europe and Southeast Asia. This experience provided him with valuable insights into the global business landscape. His extensive background positions him as a seasoned professional, bringing a wealth of expertise to the realms of start-ups, venture capital, and strategic business development.
Ahmad holds an MBA from Wayne State University and a bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut. His vision is to foster an environment where thoughtful investments and mentorship quietly contribute to business growth.
